Block is seeking a strategic, hands-on Oracle Fusion Techno Functional Developer to lead the next wave of finance technology transformation. This role owns the architecture and scaling of the technology stack powering our core financial engine across Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, and FP&A.

• Proven hands-on Oracle Fusion experience configuring, customizing, and supporting FAH, GL, SLA, and BIP.
• Strong proficiency in relational databases and advanced SQL/PL/SQL.
• Experience in accounting process transformations and end-to-end solution architecture.
• Ability to translate accounting principles into scalable technical designs.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI-First Development by embedding AI tools (Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate code generation and testing.
• Architect scalable financial solutions across Oracle FAH, GL, SLA, and BIP to support complex accounting operations.
• Build and maintain intelligent integrations between accounting systems, data lakes, and internal apps using REST/SOAP/JSON.
• Identify inefficiencies and deploy automation to scale financial workflows.
• Own technical execution by translating business requirements into concrete designs and documentation.
