Job summary

Amazon Key, part of the Amazon Devices and Ring organization, is seeking a hands-on Sr Product Manager - Tech to build hardware products from ground up, balancing design, quality, performance, and customer satisfaction. You will own features end-to-end, write specs, prototype, and ship with engineers, defining AI-powered experiences and success metrics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
Experience managing technical products or online services.
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.

Responsibilities

Own the definition, design, development, and launch of hardware and software products that delight customers - hands-on, from concept to ship.
Lead the development of product strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis, including AI-native and agentic AI experiences.
Define creative, high-quality, simple product roadmaps and make crisp prioritization decisions.
Write detailed business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications that engineering teams can build from directly.
Rapidly prototype solutions independently - create mocks, wireframes, or basic functioning prototypes without waiting for engineering or design resources.
Partner deeply with software and hardware engineering teams daily - participate in design reviews, make trade-off calls, and unblock delivery.
Manage backlog prioritization and trade-offs among customer feedback, business opportunities, performance, and operational load.
Proactively identify and resolve strategic and technical issues that may impair the team's ability to meet goals.
Drive measurable business outcomes - define success metrics, track results, and iterate based on data.
