Job summary

Amplitude, Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build full‑stack apps and tools for high‑leverage business use cases. You’ll own the full software lifecycle and build service connectors that enable AI and automation across systems.

You should have 5+ years of production engineering experience, a CS/engineering degree, and strong SQL/data warehouse skills. This role offers equity and comprehensive benefits, with a focus on AI-native platforms.

Qualifications

5+ years engineering experience shipping and running production services.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
Full-stack development spanning frontend, backend, tools and integrations.
Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions and designs.
Experience with data warehouses and SQL-based systems.

Responsibilities

Design and build full-stack apps and tools to solve high-leverage operational use cases across the business.
Build service connectors enabling AI and automation tools to work across business systems.
Evolve tools and processes to increase team velocity and simplify the tech stack.
Drive end-to-end reconciliation across financial systems from quote to revenue recognition.
Own what you build across the full software development lifecycle.
