Transamerica is seeking a Lead Business System Analyst – Finance IT to shape AI-enabled finance platforms spanning accounting, tax, treasury, and reporting. You will partner with Finance leaders and Enterprise Technology to identify AI opportunities, document requirements, and deliver scalable, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT/data/analytics.
• Ability to translate finance needs into AI-aware requirements.
• Familiarity with data-driven systems and analytics platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead with an AI-first mindset to identify AI and automation opportunities.
• Work with Finance stakeholders to document AI-enabled use cases.
• Translate finance requirements into AI-ready specifications for dev teams.
• Collaborate with EA, data engineering, AI, cloud, and platform teams.
• Define data requirements for ERP, EPM, Treasury, Tax, reporting.
• Partner with QA and validation teams to test AI outputs.
• Serve as liaison between Finance leaders and technology teams.
• Research and recommend emerging AI technologies for finance ops.
• Drive roadmap and modernization for Finance systems.
• Promote responsible AI, governance, and compliance.
