Confidential in Charlotte, NC seeks a Data Architect to unify multi-platform data architectures and guide convergence to a single scalable model. You will own the architecture end-to-end, work hands-on with AI coding agents to build and review production SQL/pipelines, and ensure security, governance, and compliance across PHI data.

You will partner with engineering, product, and security to align data strategy with business goals.

Competenze

• 7+ years in data engineering/architecture, with architect-level experience
• Experience in data modeling across relational, dimensional, and NoSQL
• Hands-on with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, BigQuery and orchestration/tools like Airflow, dbt
• Strong SQL skills and Python or similar language
• Experience handling PHI or regulated data (HIPAA/HITRUST)
• Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, or X12 isedi standards
• AI-first approach: review outputs from AI agents for correctness, performance, and security
• Able to translate business needs into technical data requirements

Mansioni

• Own end-to-end data architecture and data flows across relational, document, and cloud warehouses
• Define standards for data modeling, naming, quality, and documentation followed by engineering teams
• Lead sprint-by-sprint work with AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code) and review produced SQL/pipelines
• Architect secure handling of PHI per HIPAA and SOC 2 requirements
• Design integrations with health plan and payer data feeds (eligibility, claims, clinical)
• Build data foundation for AI and analytics ensuring data accuracy and governance
• Converge data platforms while balancing performance, cost, and scalability
• Lead data governance practices including lineage and access controls
• Translate business and clinical needs into technical data requirements
