Job summary

MIRA Safety is seeking a hands-on Chief Technology Officer to lead technology, AI, software engineering, automation, and e-commerce infrastructure. This role emphasizes building AI-powered systems, scalable architecture, and an integrated data-automation layer across Shopify, ERP, CRM, inventory, fulfillment, and analytics.

The CTO will partner with executives to modernize tech, reduce fragmented systems, and drive automated, AI-enabled operations that scale with growth.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AI builder, capable of designing, deploying, and maintaining production AI systems and agentic workflows.
• Deep Shopify and e-commerce technical knowledge and experience with Shopify Plus, Liquid, GraphQL, and related integrations.
• Strong software engineering foundation across JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Node.js, React/Next.js, databases, APIs, and cloud infra.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute MIRA Safety's technology and AI roadmap.
• Translate business objectives into scalable technical architecture and systems.
• Build and manage a high-performing technology team; recruit engineers and AI specialists.
• Establish engineering standards, testing, deployment, and monitoring across the org.
• Evaluate SaaS platforms and technology partners to optimize build-vs-buy decisions.
