Job summary

Input Output Group is seeking a CTO to partner with the CEO to shape the engineering direction and to lead an AI-first, agentic programming ecosystem across product and ventures. You will own enterprise technology, architecture, and budget while advancing standards, tooling and a high‑performing engineering culture.

You will work with IO Labs and the executive team to ensure rapid, high‑quality delivery and alignment with business priorities, while mentoring engineers and driving strategic

Qualifications

• Progressive technology leadership experience at senior or executive level.
• Strong track record building developer ecosystems, standards and tooling.
• Deep familiarity with Web3, blockchain, and distributed systems.
• Experience translating technology strategy for boards and investors.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the engineering strategy in partnership with the CEO.
• Own enterprise technology direction, architecture and budget responsibilities.
• Shape the developer ecosystem, standards, culture, tooling, and practices.
• Drive AI-first engineering and agentic programming across teams.
• Collaborate with CPO/COO to ensure a technically sound roadmap and velocity.
• Evaluate venture viability and provide venture-ready technical foundations.
• Lead external technical representation with partners and investors.
• Develop and grow the CTO leadership bench through a Centre of Excellence.
