Job summary

Make is an AI-first design and engineering agency offering remote work from anywhere. As a Backend Engineer, you will join a team of AI-first engineers building large-scale backend services and integrating third-party APIs.

You should be comfortable in a remote, async environment, with ownership mindset and proactive communication. You’ll use Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex, and bring 7+ years of backend experience plus 2+ years of Node.js expertise to deliver scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of AI-first engineers
• Build and maintain backend services using TypeScript
