Pacific Gas and Electric Company is seeking an Expert / Principal Operations Finance Analyst – AI Value Delivery & FinOps to act as the finance lead for AI initiatives within PG&E’s IT portfolio. This role is not a project manager; it requires strategic finance partnership to translate AI activity into tangible financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree- required or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 6+ years of FP&A, business finance, or related experience.
• Experience building financial models and communicating financial recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance support for AI business cases, documenting costs, benefits, risks, and value levers.
• Develop ROI, NPV, payback analyses for AI initiatives across pilot, scale, and run-state phases.
• Establish benefit tracking to compare approved value to realized outcomes.
• Create showback/chargeback approaches connecting AI consumption to business owners.
• Support planning, forecasting, and leadership reporting for AI-related IT spend and value delivery.
