Job summary

Moontajska Productions is seeking a Junior AI Filmmaker & Video Editor to join our remote team. You will collaborate with a director to turn scripts and storyboards into cinematic AI-generated shots using Higgsfield, Kling, Seedance and Midjourney, while editing with DaVinci Resolve.

The ideal candidate has a film-making background, at least 2 years in video editing with DaVinci Resolve, and strong storytelling skills in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Filmmaking or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience with DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of film language, cinematography, narrative storytelling and cinematic aesthetics.
• Excellent English, including filmmaking terminology.
• Experience with generative AI video tools is an advantage, but not mandatory. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our director to transform scripts, storyboards and creative briefs into cinematic AI-generated shots and finished videos.
• Apply filmmaking principles: framing, composition, lighting, camera movements, continuity and visual storytelling.
• Generate and refine AI shots using tools such as Higgsfield, Kling, Seedance, Midjourney
• Engineer prompts using ChatGPT, references and multiple iterations to achieve the desired visual results.
• Edit and assemble videos using DaVinci Resolve, including pacing, sound and basic colour correction.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Working hours: 1:00 PM 9:00 PM IST (to match French work hours)
