You will evaluate course analyses, implement design changes, and build AI literacy into activities while ensuring accessibility and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and certification required; master's preferred.
• Experience in instructional design or course development in higher education with emphasis on responsible AI usage.
• Ability to apply adult learning theory and accessibility standards throughout the design process.

Responsibilities

• Reviews Future Learning Lab course analysis and uses professional judgment to accept, adapt, or reject recommendations.
• Leads redesign of assignments and assessments vulnerable to AI substitution.
• Builds AI literacy scaffolding into course activities and instructions.
• Updates course content for currency and strengthens the overall learning experience.
• Reviews and redesigns faith integration as part of course design.
• Attends course kickoff meetings or routes revised activities for asynchronous review.
• Builds and revises approved IWU content in the LMS and supporting tools.
• Applies adult learning theory, QM standards, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility throughout the design process.
