Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking an hands-on AI Engineering Tech Lead to drive development and production deployment of AI solutions that boost manufacturing efficiency, quality, and engineering productivity. You will lead projects spanning computer vision, anomaly detection, and generative AI, partnering with fab domain experts to deliver scalable, reliable applications.

Based in Arizona, you will own local delivery while contributing reusable components and best practices across TSMC’s global fab

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in AI/ML, CS, IE, CE, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional AI/ML development with production deployment experience.
• Proven leadership of 7+ engineers across multiple AI projects.
• Track record moving AI from prototype to production with measurable impact.
• Strong expertise in CV, anomaly detection, time-series, RL, or generative AI.
• Proficient Python and software engineering skills; PyTorch and data pipelines.
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, MLOps, CI/CD, monitoring.
• Familiar with Agile and Spec‑Driven Development; clear requirements and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple AI projects from concept to production with measurable outcomes.
• Design architectures, review code, guide experiments, and ensure reliability.
• Mentor engineers, set technical direction, and enforce engineering standards.
• Develop AI/ML solutions with data collection, labeling, model development, and integration.
• Own production operations; establish MLOps/LLMOps, versioning, deployment, monitoring.
• Build trustworthy applications with validation, access controls, and governance.
• Scale solutions across global teams and adapt to site-specific needs.
