Job summary

Oracle in the United States is seeking an experienced Agentic AI Developer to design, build, and optimize AI agents enabling critical mission functions. You will work with stakeholders across architects, data scientists, and DBAs to deliver secure, scalable solutions using Oracle DB and OCI.

The role requires hands-on experience with AI agents, RAG implementations, MCP data/tool integrations, and cloud-native development. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale software or data systems.
• Experience designing, building, deploying, and supporting production-grade AI agents or AI-enabled applications.
• Hands-on experience developing RAG solutions: data prep, retrieval design, grounding, and prompt/context management.
• Experience implementing MCP integrations for controlled access to enterprise tools and data.
• Experience with geospatial intelligence data and analytics.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and R; experience with RESTful APIs and data services.
• Experience with ML frameworks, AutoML, and notebook workflows for prototyping, training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Experience developing Node.js apps and dashboards that integrate with Oracle DB.
• Experience building against Oracle Database and collaborating with DBAs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize AI agents to automate mission functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, data scientists, and DBAs to translate requirements into secure, reliable solutions.
• Build and maintain production AI systems with robust state handling, error management, and evaluation.
• Develop and deploy RAG-based data prep, retrieval, grounding, and prompt management solutions.
• Integrate with enterprise tools and data via MCP integrations and cloud platforms.
• Create Node.js apps and dashboards that connect to Oracle Database and OCI services.
• Evaluate and improve AI/ML tooling, model quality, and security practices.
