Job summary

Raydar, a fast-growing compliance software company, is seeking a leader to own and direct its AI initiatives. You will work closely with the founding team and head of engineering to shape the AI roadmap, including a conversational assistant and AI review capabilities, while steering the architecture behind the entire product.

In this role you will review current AI systems, implement fixes, and scale systems for many clients.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience building and deploying agentic experiences with real users, owning logging, labeling and evals end to end.
• Experience shipping production-ready backend Python.
• Clear communication and strong problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Review existing AI systems, decide fixes, implement changes.
• Own the AI architecture for the whole product: agents, memory, context management, token efficiency.
• Deploy meaningful improvements to AI experiences in the first month.
• Scale as more clients come on board.
• Hire and mentor new team members.
