Job summary

CNA's Tech Summer Internship Program seeks a team of interns for a 10-12 week training program that offers hands-on experience across technologies, including server technologies like VMware, Aria automation, NSXT, and vSAN. Interns will design and build IT automation capabilities, learn about the insurance industry, and receive mentorship from a dedicated manager and senior leaders.

Qualifications

Sophomore, junior or senior (undergraduate) or first year of a Master's program in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Computational Statistics, Data Science or related technical field.
GPA of 3.0+ (overall and major) required.
6+ months of work experience in AI or ML.
1+ years of coding in Python, R, or SQL.
Interest in the Insurance Industry.
Some previous work experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and in a team; cultivate positive business relationships.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated leadership ability.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing and building IT automation capabilities using Ansible, Terraform, and industry-standard tools like Chef and Puppet.
Participate in deploying fully orchestrated IT delivery models to speed up provisioning and reduce human errors.
Proactively propose ideas to deliver business value more effectively and cultivate innovation.
Receive mentorship from a dedicated manager and opportunities to meet senior leaders in Technology.
