Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a motivated AI internship candidate to prototype and ship AI-native products for millions of users. You will research and productionalize AI systems including multimodal search and document processing, while shaping the AI infrastructure with fine-tuning, RL, and guardrails.

You will work with AWS Ultraclusters, PyTorch, and agentic frameworks to develop capabilities and architect autonomous workflows that navigate tools within complex microservice environments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree with expected completion by Aug 2028 or earlier.
• Must continue in the same program after internship.
• At least 6 months experience developing AI/ML algorithms or related projects.
• At least 6 months experience programming in Python/Go/Scala/Java.
• Experience deploying AI/ML systems on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Experience optimizing AI/ML training or inference pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with researchers, PMs, and engineers to prototype and ship AI-native products for millions of users.
• Research, prototype, and productionalize AI systems including multimodal search and intelligent document processing.
• Design and optimize AI infrastructure, including fine-tuning, pre-training, RL, and guardrails.
• Use AWS Ultraclusters, PyTorch, and agentic frameworks to develop capabilities.
• Architect agentic workflows that autonomously navigate tools and multi-step reasoning in microservice environments.
• Build Agentic AI applications and platform capabilities for GenAI workflows and internal coding tools.
