Description

We are seeking an AI Engineer/Software Engineer with experience in developing proof-of-concept (POC) projects into scalable products, preferably in generative AI. The role involves connecting backend and frontend systems to enable scalability across L'Oreal. This is a one-year contract with the potential for multiple extensions, as additional POCs are in development.

L'Oréal is developing CM.ai, an AI-driven web app designed to help brand teams extract insights from structured market survey data. The project has completed a POC and now requires a team to transition into production. The web app is chat-based, allowing users to interact with AI agents that perform text-to-SQL tasks, querying structured data in Google BigQuery to deliver insights in an accessible format.

Responsibilities

• Develop the agentic backend on Google ADK.
• Build APIs for communication between the web app and backend systems.
• Analyze and monitor system performance.
• Deploy the application on GCP and CloudRun.

Existing tools and agent definitions are in place, and the project is moving into production.

Required Skills

• Strong Python programming skills.
• Proven experience in building AI-driven web applications.
• Experience with agentic frameworks such as Google ADK or Crew.ai.
