Innova Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer for a Plano, TX engagement with a 6+ month contract-to-hire. The role requires Java or Python expertise, 10+ years in software development, and 2+ years building AI/ML apps in production.

Expect hands-on work with AI/ML architectures, RAG models, and production CI/CD pipelines. Candidates should be proficient with cloud services (AWS), modern APIs (REST/GraphQL), and containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience in Java or Python.
• 2+ years building AI/ML applications in production.
• Proficient in Java or Python with AI/ML architecture.
• Experience with production CI/CD pipelines and API building.
• Strong knowledge of RAG architectures and embedding models.
• Familiar with vector stores (Pinecone, OpenSearch, pgvector, FAISS).
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or CrewAI.
• Hands-on with AWS Bedrock and Claude models.
• Proficient in API design (REST, GraphQL) and microservices.
• Experience with guardrails, responsible AI practices.

Looking for a Software Engineer in Plano, TX.

Position type: Contract to Hire
Duration: 6+ Months

MUST Have skills

• Java or Python proficient with AI_ML architecture
• Hands on work in production CICD pipeline API building
• 10+ years of software development experience (Java or Python)
• 2+ years hands-on experience building AI/ML applications in production
• Strong proficiency with RAG architectures
• Chunking strategies, embedding models, vector stores (Pinecone, OpenSearch, pgvector, FAISS)
• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks: LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or CrewAI
• Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock, Anthropic Claude models, and model invocation APIs
• Proven prompt engineering skills
• System prompts, few-shot, chain-of-thought, tool use, structured outputs
• Experience building conversational AI: chatbots (text) and voicebots (speech-to-text, text-to-speech integration)
• Proficiency with AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SQS)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS), and infrastructure-as-code
• Strong understanding of API design (REST, GraphQL), microservices architecture, and event-driven systems
• Familiarity with evaluation frameworks for LLM outputs
• Experience with guardrails, content filtering, and responsible AI practices

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS

Pay Range*: $90/Hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
