Job summary

AutoStore™ is seeking an AI Engineer to empower our Engineering team to embed AI capabilities into products. You will serve as a subject matter expert across internal teams and collaborate across time zones to deliver scalable AI solutions for robotics-enabled operations.

Ideal candidate has 3–5 years building ML/AI systems in production, with hands-on LLM agent development, cloud deployment, and strong optimization skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years building and deploying ML or AI systems in production.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Hands-on experience with LLM agent development: retrieval-augmented generation, tool and API integration, and multi-step orchestration frameworks.
• Experience deploying and operating models on cloud infrastructure with cost, latency, and scaling tradeoffs.
• Experience with optimization/ML algorithms for hard problems (routing, scheduling, coordination).
• Time-series modelling and forecasting for telemetry data (anomaly detection, predictive analytics).

Responsibilities

• Build and ship AI agent systems connecting to data sources and tools.
• Deploy and operate AI on cloud infrastructure, optimizing cost, performance, and scaling.
• Apply optimization and ML algorithms to routing and coordination problems.
• Build time-series models and forecasting for operational telemetry and anomaly detection.
• Deliver outputs to physical systems with reliability constraints.
