Job summary

FedEx Corporation is seeking an AI Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise AI and ML solutions across the business. This hands-on role focuses on production-grade code, scalable AI systems, and integrating models into applications.

You will work with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, ML Ops Engineers, and Platform teams to move AI use cases from prototype to production with governance and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field.
• Strong Python programming and API development experience.
• Experience building production-grade ML/AI systems and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with GCP Vertex AI, MLOps, and model deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operationalize AI agents and LLMs in cloud environments.
• Design and implement scalable data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training workflows.
• Develop and optimize RAG architectures and vector search pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists and platform teams to productionize analytics solutions.
