Job summary

feverup seeks a senior software engineer to lead an internal AI transformation. You will work directly with Operations, Creative, and Support to uncover automation opportunities, then design, build, and ship end-to-end AI solutions with significant autonomy.

You will own projects from discovery to rollout, shipping production AI systems and agentic workflows while measuring impact through adoption signals and user time saved.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of professional software engineering experience, shipping AI systems.
• Proven track record owning end-to-end projects as sole builder.
• Strong Python, APIs, microservices, databases, and AWS foundations.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and define what to build with minimal briefs.
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Embed with internal teams to observe workflows and surface automation opportunities.
• Design and deliver production AI systems including LLM apps, agentic workflows, and retrieval pipelines.
• Own the complete lifecycle from discovery through deployment and adoption.
• Track time reclaimed by users and iterate based on adoption signals.
• Prioritize independently and drive initiatives to completion.

Role overview

This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role focused on driving an internal AI transformation by working directly alongside business teams. The position is embedded with groups such as Operations, Creative, and Support to uncover where artificial intelligence can meaningfully reduce manual work, then design, build, and ship the solution end-to-end. The engineer operates with significant autonomy, owning their own roadmap and outcome rather than working from a pre-defined backlog.

Responsibilities

• Spend time embedded with internal teams to observe real workflows and surface genuine automation opportunities grounded in day-to-day pain points rather than speculative specifications.
• Design and deliver production AI systems, including large language model applications, agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, chatbots, and broader automated processes.
• Own the complete lifecycle from problem discovery and prototyping through deployment and adoption, without handing work off to another team.
• Track the time and effort reclaimed by users, then iterate based on actual adoption signals and feedback.
• Prioritize independently: identify what matters, decide what to build next, and drive it to completion.

Requirements

• Six or more years of professional software engineering experience, including production work shipping AI systems using frameworks such as LangGraph or LlamaIndex, agentic workflows, or comparable tooling.
• Demonstrated history of owning at least one project end-to-end as a sole builder, covering discovery, implementation, and rollout.
• Solid engineering foundations across Python, APIs, microservices, databases, and AWS.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity by independently determining what to build within a business domain, without waiting on a detailed brief.
• Strong communication skills for translating messy manual processes into clear technical proposals and bringing non-technical stakeholders along.

• Background operating as part of a small enablement or platform squad where collaboration is daily but domain ownership is individual.
