Job summary

Philips is offering an internship for an AI Engineer in Enterprise AI & Workflow Automation in Plymouth, MN, Summer 2027. You will design and test AI agents, connect to enterprise data, and automate business processes using Power Platform and Azure.

You are pursuing a BS/MS in CS, Software Engineering, or related fields, with programming skills in Python/JavaScript/C#/SQL and a basic understanding of data structures.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with one or more programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, C#, or SQL, and a basic understanding of data structures and data management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and optimize AI agents and conversational AI experiences using Microsoft Copilot Studio, including prompts, instructions, grounding, and knowledge sources.
• Connect AI solutions to enterprise data sources including SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, Teams, Power BI, and Azure-based repositories, supporting data preparation, transformation, and validation.
• Develop automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate and related technologies to streamline business processes.
• Develop dashboards and reporting to measure solution adoption, user feedback, and business impact, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Document solution architecture, workflows, and deployment processes, while creating user guides, training materials, and enablement content.
