Cook Medical's Global IT team is seeking AI-focused interns to work on real problems, applying AI to automation, platforms, and data capabilities behind a global medical device company. This hands-on internship emphasizes practical AI work rather than shadowing.

The 12-week paid program is based in Bloomington, Spencer, or Ellettsville, Indiana, from mid-May to mid-August. It includes mentorship, capstone presentation, intern events, housing stipend, and onsite facilities where applicable.

Qualifications

• Strong programming in Python with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data preprocessing.
• Learning mindset, problem-solving, ability to work independently or in a team.
• Interest in Life Sciences and ability to collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Automate critical processes by designing AI-driven automation.
• Prototype AI across IT capabilities to improve service delivery.
• Turn data into decisions by delivering insights and analytics.
• Document work and build a professional network.
