Job summary

Cook Medical's Global IT team seeks an AI Engineer Intern for a 12-week paid internship in Bloomington, IN (or Spencer/Ellettsville). You will work hands-on on AI problems, build automation, and contribute to data platforms used by clinicians and patients.

The program includes mentorship, capstone presentation, and onsite perks. Eligible students are entering their junior or senior year or graduate school, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and enrollment proof.

Qualifications

• Strong programming in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch and similar.
• Basic understanding of ML algorithms, neural networks and deep learning concepts.
• Familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering and data analysis.
• Motivated self-starter with problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take on AI challenges.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical ideas.
• Interest in Life Sciences and ability to collaborate well.
• Candidates: juniors/seniors or graduate students; proof of enrollment required.
