CyberTrend Engineering LLC is seeking an AI Engineer III (Active TS/SCI w/poly) in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. The role focuses on designing, testing, and productizing AI/ML models to solve complex defense-related business challenges.

You will lead data pipelines, model development, and performance improvements while coordinating with geographically distributed teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in applied ML, advanced degrees in AI/CS, and practical experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied ML experience
• Master's or Ph.D. in advanced math, AI, data science, CS or deep learning
• Proficiency with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Experience in leading AI/ML model development and deployment
• Ability to lead geographically distributed teams and act as POC for AI matters

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and productize AI/ML models to solve business challenges
• Oversee model training, deployment, and monitoring
• Lead data pipelines, data governance, and feature engineering efforts
• Evaluate and compare ML frameworks and libraries
