Qualifications

  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to AI models and their deployment.
  • Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Creates and maintains monitoring solutions for AI systems and services.
  • Supports AI projects and models in production systems.
  • Assists in evaluating products and services for AI functionalities.

The AI Engineer III is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to solve complex problems and enhance business processes. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to incorporate AI technologies into various applications and systems. This position involves designing, building and deploying AI models and algorithms, as well as training them with large datasets. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative AI solutions to enhance existing systems. Advanced knowledge of AI technologies and software engineering are essential for this role. This position is not responsible for providing care to patients.

Responsibilities

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Knowledge of modern software deployment methodology, including two or more of: continuous integration, continuous delivery, test-driven development, Agile/Scrum.

  • Familiarity with one or more version control systems like Git or Perforce.

  • Background in system administration or software development within a team setting.

  • Basic understanding of centralized configuration systems.

  • Strong proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, R, or Java.

  • Skilled in using machine learning frameworks and libraries.

  • Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

This is a sedentary position that may exert up to 10 pounds and may lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. This position involves sitting most of the time and is not exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
