This position is responsible for the strategic design and maintenance of data architecture and integrations from both internal systems and vendor systems. The incumbent explores and designs new solutions for problems in these systems looking at them as a whole, rather than simply as individual pieces.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions


  • Develop integration strategy and roadmap where all data moves through appropriate systems minimizing errors to ensure systems are functional and efficient.

  • Reviewing and consulting around application requirements to ensure performance, quality, and function.

  • Translate business and technical requirements for integrations into a roadmap/blueprint.

  • Ensure systems communicate with each other through data transfers or application programming interface (API).

  • Maintain and support existing integrations

  • Work closely with Business Systems Analysts, Enterprise Data Warehouse, and UIT partners to resolve configuration inefficiencies.

  • Own and Maintain SQL databases that feed custom web apps

  • Document integrations and HR data architecture.

  • Collaborate during requirements, configuration, testing, and go live for new systems to ensure required data elements are passed to new systems as appropriate.

  • Advise on integrations technologies, best practices, process improvement, platform configuration changes to drive business outcomes.

  • Evaluate system needs, modifying existing processes to meet changing demands and ensuring seamless data interface communication.

  • Researches and recommends opportunities to adopt new technology

  • Supports process improvement initiatives


Knowledge / Skills / Abilities


  • Strong communication skills (oral and written), including documentation, project management, and report presentation.

  • Technical expertise in software analysis, process design, installation, and support

  • Business process knowledge

  • Ability to motivate and organize projects across all hospital personnel to drive alignment with cross-organizational project teams.

  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence solutions and knowledge of Information Security strategies.

  • Self-motivation, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Familiarity with structured Project Management Methodology and ITIL training

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Care Administration, Business, or equivalent experience, required.

  • Three years of applicable experience.
