Accrete, Inc. is seeking an AI Engineer to join a cross-disciplinary team working at the intersection of data science, AI, and workflow automation.

You will automate knowledge-intensive government processes, build intelligent systems, and move prototypes into production with strong technical depth and rapid iteration. The ideal candidate has deep ML/AI experience, proficiency in C++, Python, Java, and SQL, and a track record of delivering production-ready AI capabilities in mission-focused

Qualifications

• Active TS//SCI clearance with Counterintelligence or Lifestyle Polygraph.
• 5+ years of experience in data science, ML, or AI.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience with C++, Python, Java, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying ML/AI systems.
• Experience applying LLMs to real-world applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-driven automation solutions for complex government workflows.
• Identify manual, repetitive processes that can be improved through AI and automation.
• Develop systems combining data, ML, LLMs, and automation to achieve mission objectives.
• Build intelligent workflows for extracting information, reasoning over data, outputs, and actions.
• Develop and evaluate LLM-based applications, including retrieval-augmented generation and tool use.
• Design human-in-the-loop workflows compliant with government regulations.
• Develop automated data ingestion, classification, enrichment, transformation, and analysis.
• Prototype rapidly and iterate based on user feedback and system performance.
• Evaluate opportunities based on accuracy, reliability, scalability, and impact.
