Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a Technology Consultant 1 in the United States to assist in capturing user needs, designing software specifications, and developing components for new applications. You will conduct interviews, support design discussions, and document detailed processes throughout the software lifecycle.

The role emphasizes coding, testing, and troubleshooting live systems, with a focus on integrating new features and maintaining thorough documentation for ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; will also consider three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
• Willingness to relocate and travel to work/project locations.

Responsibilities

• Capture user needs via targeted interviews and workshops; document requirements.
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specs and create process docs.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new applications per design specs.
• Execute test plans, analyze results, and report defects to improve performance.
• Support integration of new features and ensure smooth transitions in the system.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications; document maintenance needs.
• Document coding practices and testing methodologies to grow the knowledge base.
