Pleased is a remote-first company providing customer service SaaS to clients worldwide. We seek a software engineer to develop AI-powered capabilities across our products and to integrate new AI features with leading APIs.

You will ensure conversational and voice AI stay reliable and scalable while maintaining production AI services. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in production AI, strong Python skills, and a solid grasp of distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with production AI applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with AI APIs like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini.
• Understanding of software architecture and distributed systems.
