Job summary

Saturn Petcare Inc. in Terre Haute, IN, seeks an AI Engineer to create one reliable data foundation across SAP S/4HANA, Ignition, Excel, and market data, automating reporting and applying AI for actionable insights.

You will work directly with the CFO and leadership teams, building models and AI solutions, with responsibility for accuracy. You will raise data quality at the source, train staff, and set responsible AI usage standards, including governance aligned with industry frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; five+ years of hands-on data analytics or data engineering experience.
• Experience building and operating reporting solutions and automating recurring reports.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into working AI/automation solutions.
• Excellent communication and change-management skills for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain one data foundation linking SAP S/4HANA, Ignition, Excel, and external data sources.
• Automate executive and plant reporting to avoid manual collection and formatting.
• Develop AI-enabled commentary, explanations, and summaries with human review gates.
• Forecast, scenario analyses, and early-warning indicators to guide leadership decisions.
• Identify AI/automation use cases with measurable business impact and drive adoption.
