Job summary

Skill is seeking an AI Engineer to lead development of intelligent robotic systems, advancing embodied AI and autonomous platforms. You will design, train, and deploy models that operate in simulation and on hardware, shaping the next generation of robotic learning and perception.

The role emphasizes building robust pipelines, integrating control and perception stacks, and contributing to fast deployment of new algorithms in real-world and simulated environments.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in CS/CE or related field.
  • 5–7 years of related experience.
  • Strong CS foundations: data structures, algorithms, software design.
  • Experience with simulation environments or robotic hardware.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and unit testing in production systems.
  • Proficient in programming; strong problem diagnosis and resolution.
  • Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop tools to provide fast deployment of novel algorithms in simulation and on hardware.

Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of related experience.
  • A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Experience with using simulation environments or robotic hardware.
  • Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems.
  • Proven experience in programming, coupled with expertise in problem diagnosis and resolution.
  • Background in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • PHD level work or studies in a robotics lab.
