Job summary

Kriya Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and operate agentic AI systems and data pipelines. You will develop RAG workflows, integrate MCP connectors, and ensure secure, scalable AI solutions across biological data platforms.

You will collaborate with teams across CMC, Clinical, Legal, and Finance to translate scientific needs into robust software and AI architectures, mentoring junior staff along the way.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 3–7+ years of experience as software/ML/AI engineer; leadership experience a plus.
• Hands-on experience building agentic AI systems and multi-step LLM workflows.
• Experience with RAG systems, embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval evaluation.
• Strong Python engineering skills; API development and integration (MCP, REST).
• Experience with AWS cloud services and data platforms; data engineering fundamentals.
• Familiarity with GxP-adjacent data governance and biotech data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy agentic AI systems and LLM-based tools.
• Develop RAG pipelines and vector search capabilities over internal data.
• Create production-grade data pipelines connecting data lake to AI applications.
• Apply software engineering practices: testing, CI/CD, version control, observability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate needs into technical designs.
• Provide technical leadership on AI system architecture and mentor junior team members.
