Job summary

Searchability in Chester is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build and deploy AI agents that automate business processes and interact with company data.

You will work with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG and API integrations to develop intelligent applications, collaborating with data and technology teams from requirements through production, ensuring accuracy and scalability.

The role offers hands-on exposure to modern AI tools and Azure ecosystem within a growing organisation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing AI agents or LLM-powered applications.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, prompt engineering and RAG.
• Experience with Python, SQL and API integrations.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure.
• Experience building AI workflows that interact with databases and business systems.
• Understanding of AI testing, evaluation and deployment into production environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

THE AI ENGINEER ROLE:

As an AI Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, building and deploying AI agents that automate business processes and interact with company data.

You’ll work with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, RAG and API integrations to develop intelligent applications that support teams across the organisation.

Working closely with the wider data and technology teams, you’ll take AI solutions from initial requirements through to production, ensuring they’re accurate, reliable and scalable.

You’ll also be involved in testing AI outputs, improving agent performance and exploring new technologies to support the organisation’s wider AI strategy.
