Job summary

Elevate Ventures is looking for a Junior Full-Stack AI Engineer to join their innovative team in Indianapolis. You will help design and build AI-infused applications, utilizing your coding skills in Python and React while collaborating with senior engineers. Your Mission

Join us as a Junior Full-Stack AI Engineer, helping design and build AI-infused applications across the stack. You’ll get hands‑on with prompts, workflows, and agents — while learning how to take scrappy prototypes and turn them into production‑ready systems.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to building AI‑powered applications and agents that solve real business problems.

• Assist with prompt engineering, RAG workflows, embeddings, and orchestration.

• Work across the stack: frontend (React, TypeScript), backend (Python/Node/Go), and databases (SQL/NoSQL/vector stores).

• Experiment with new AI models, APIs, and dev tools — bringing that curiosity back into production‑ready work.

• Collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to turn ideas into shipped features.

About You

• You’re an AI‑native builder — curious, creative, and always experimenting.

• You already use tools like Cursor, Copilot, or Claude Code and love how they level you up.

• You’ve built apps or prototypes with low/no‑code AI tools like Luvable, Bolt, or v0.

• Every time a new model drops (text, image, or video), you’re one of the first to try it and see what’s possible.

• You’ve built small agents or automations to handle routine tasks, whether that’s summarizing your notes, scheduling your day, or something completely unexpected.

• You may not have a long professional resume, but you have a portfolio of experiments, side projects, or hacks that show you love to build with AI.

• Comfortable coding in Python, React and JavaScript/TypeScript basics, with a desire to grow across the full stack.

• Most importantly: you see AI not as ‘magic,’ but as a powerful set of tools that, in the right hands, can make magic happen.
