Job summary

IDR, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy multi-agent AI systems and RAG pipelines in production. The role is hybrid in Atlanta and offers a competitive hourly rate.

You will work with AWS Bedrock AgentCore, LangGraph/LangChain, and Terraform, building scalable Python services with FastAPI or Flask, and enforcing security, logging, and MCP standards across deployment environments. This position supports ongoing innovation and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of AI engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in production GenAI environments.
• Proven expertise with AWS Bedrock AgentCore, including Runtime, Gateway, Memory, and Identity components.
• Extensive experience building multi-step workflows with LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, or Strands.
• Proficiency in Python backend development for scalable production services.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code knowledge on AWS, including Terraform and related services.

IDR, Inc. is hiring an AI Engineer in Atlanta, GA (hybrid) to design, build, and deploy multi-agent AI systems and RAG pipelines in production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy multi-agent AI systems using AWS Bedrock AgentCore with hands-on production experience
• Lead RAG pipeline development, including chunking, embeddings, vector indexing, retrieval tuning, and reranking using modern vector database approaches
• Build and review Python backend services using FastAPI or Flask to expose AI capabilities with strong software engineering standards
• Manage Infrastructure as Code on AWS with Terraform, deploying services such as Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch
• Enforce integration standards and security protocols, including MCP standards, audit logging, and evaluation frameworks to monitor AI model performance
