We are looking for an AI Enablement & Product Lead. This position will be based in Wendell, NC, with remote work considered for highly qualified candidates.

The AI Enablement & Product Lead serves as the primary connection between the AI Excellence team and the Business Unit, ensuring that AI investments address meaningful business problems, are prioritized appropriately, and ultimately achieve adoption and measurable value.

The role combines AI product management, business analysis, demand shaping, portfolio management, and organizational enablement .

Rather than simply receiving AI requests, this individual works directly with business stakeholders to understand underlying problems, identify appropriate opportunities and shape those opportunities into actionable initiatives.

The role owns the front end of the AI lifecycle while remaining engaged through delivery and adoption as the business/product owner counterpart to the AI Solutions & Architecture Lead.

You’ll make a difference by:

• Demand discovery and shaping – Engage business functions, segments, and operational teams to identify high-value AI, automation, analytics, process improvement, and technology-enabled opportunities.
• Use case development – Facilitate discovery sessions, challenge requests framed around specific technologies, and translate business problems into well-defined use cases.
• Demand management and prioritization – Establish and operate the AI demand intake process, evaluate value, feasibility, effort, risk, and strategic alignment, and groom the opportunity pipeline.
• AI product ownership – Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, backlogs, acceptance criteria, and delivery priorities while keeping solutions aligned to business outcomes.
• Portfolio visibility and value realization – Maintain portfolio reporting, develop business cases, define measurable success criteria, track adoption and utilization, and communicate outcomes to leadership.
• AI champion community – Build and support the AI Champion network with clear expectations, reusable resources, feedback mechanisms, and structured engagement to accelerate adoption.
• Adoption and capability building – Develop practical AI education, playbooks, guidance, use-case examples, and learning activities that help teams adopt new capabilities and ways of working.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of experience with the following:
• Product management, digital transformation, business process improvement, technology delivery, AI enablement, or related disciplines.
• Practical enterprise AI capabilities, use cases, adoption models, and technology-enabled business improvement.
• Translating business needs into technology requirements, user stories, delivery backlogs, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitating stakeholder discussions, managing priorities, and aligning business and technical teams.
• Developing business cases, value measures, portfolio reporting, and adoption tracking.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience serving as a product owner or business/product owner counterpart for AI, analytics, automation, or digital initiatives.
• Experience establishing demand intake, prioritization, portfolio management, governance, or reuse practices across business areas.
• Knowledge of organizational change management, adoption planning, capability building, and champion community models.
• Ability to bridge business stakeholders and technical teams with strong facilitation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience creating enablement materials such as playbooks, use-case examples, reusable knowledge, training resources, or practical guidance.
