Job summary

OKX is seeking an experienced Tech Governance - Security Compliance & Governance Engineer (Mandarin bilingual required) in San Jose, CA. You will lead audit remediation programs across engineering, legal, product, and operations, coordinating with external regulators and auditors.

You will deploy AI to accelerate compliance operations and produce publication-grade governance reporting, all while maintaining high standards for accuracy and documentation in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT audit, risk management, compliance, or security governance.
• 3+ years leading governance programs at large-scale internet, financial services, or crypto firm.
• Experience with IPO-readiness or high-scrutiny regulatory examination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit remediation programs across engineering, product, legal, and operations.
• Own cross-functional governance work streams with limited management oversight.
• Conduct IT security and architecture governance reviews and issue findings with remediation timelines.
• Build and maintain the policy estate translating regulatory requirements into guidance for first-line teams.
• Lead regulator and auditor engagement as primary coordination interface for external audits.
• Deploy AI to accelerate compliance operations and scale AI-assisted workflows.
• Deliver governance reporting and dashboards for remediation status and risk posture.
• Track regulatory changes and brief senior leadership proactively.
