Job summary

Rialto Capital is seeking an Associate underwriter to perform thorough underwriting and cash flow analysis at both loan and property levels, including CMBS portfolios. The role covers loans across major property types nationwide and requires collaboration with Master Servicers to ensure covenant compliance.

You will prepare recurring portfolio reviews and leverage AI tools to enhance research and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics or related field.
• 1+ years of commercial real estate underwriting or loan servicing experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for financial modeling and presentations.
• AI-enabled tools to support research and workflow improvement with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite loans at both loan and property levels, including origination and CMBS portfolios.
• Underwrite across major property types nationwide and across all states.
• Monitor credit metrics, loan performance, and dispositions; analyze portfolio risk.
• Prepare portfolio reviews and risk assessments for senior management.
• Coordinate with Master Servicers to ensure covenant and cash management compliance.
• Leverage AI tools to support research, analyze data, and streamline workflows; validate outputs.
