Job summary

Disney’s The Walt Disney Studios seeks a Product Manager/Product Owner Tech to lead the Studio and Production Office applications, driving AI-powered transformation of production workflows. You’ll blend business analysis with product management, shaping strategy and delivering scalable solutions across internal apps, PaaS options, and licensed SaaS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in film production, computer science, information systems, software, electrical engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent years of work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in product ownership within software development environments.
• 5+ years of experience using Agile Scrum methodology in an Agile setting.
• 5+ years in a Production or Studio environment.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI coding tools to accelerate prototyping and to build, test, deploy, and maintain applications.
• Exceptional analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with data platforms.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business clients or other product teams to gather requirements, define use cases, and translate needs into acceptance criteria and prototypes.
• Develop and execute the product vision and roadmap across internal applications, PaaS options, and licensed SaaS solutions.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools to build and deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope; evolve AI-enabled workflows.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and prioritization; define and accept user stories for engineering work.
• Author and maintain product documentation, data flow and UML diagrams, and other technical artifacts.
• Analyze and interpret data to support decision-making at studio and production levels.
• Partner with infrastructure and data engineering teams to support integration with studio data platforms.
• Monitor product KPIs and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Highlight successes, opportunities, and risks in executive communications.
