Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. is seeking a Virtual Patient Safety Technician to monitor patient safety in real time using AI-enabled cameras and provide timely intervention within a centralized monitoring station on site in Miami Beach, FL.

You will work with bedside nurses and the ADT Virtual RN, document all observations, and participate in ongoing competency training. A High School Diploma and CPR certification are required, with a Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certificate due

Qualifications

• CPR Certification is required.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certificate within 90 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in healthcare and patient sitting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor multiple patients via Artisight AI-enabled camera system in a centralized monitoring station.
• Recognize and respond to unsafe patient behaviors and verbally redirect when appropriate.
• Activate escalation protocols and notify unit nursing staff.
• Document events and observations in monitoring software or EMR as required.
• Operate and troubleshoot Artisight equipment and respond to AI-generated alerts.
