Job summary

West Monroe is seeking a Manager for the Merger & Carveout Services (MCS) practice. You will lead engagements across the transaction lifecycle, partnering with senior client leaders to translate complex findings into actionable strategies and value creation.

You will manage teams, budgets, and deliverables while leveraging AI tools to accelerate analysis and drive data-backed recommendations. Travel 25–50% and contribute to building West Monroe’s M&A capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of management consulting, transaction advisory, or related experience.
• Experience managing client engagements and senior stakeholder relationships.
• Experience across the M&A lifecycle, including diligence, separation or integration planning, TSA analysis, standalone cost modeling.
• Strong business and financial acumen with ability to connect operational and technology considerations to deal value.
• Experience integrating AI tools into day-to-day workflows to enhance productivity and insight generation.

Responsibilities

• Lead buy-side and sell-side merger, integration, and carveout engagements for PE and corporate clients.
• Manage scope, budgets, staffing, workflows, deliverables, profitability, risks, quality, and reporting.
• Oversee cross-functional diligence across IT, Finance, HR, Procurement, Operations, Sales & Marketing.
