Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Engineer Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

You will work with experienced engineers to analyze equipment data, perform root-cause analysis, and participate in equipment upgrades and SOP enhancements, leveraging AI-enabled insights and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field listed in the job posting.
• Willing to work in semiconductor manufacturing and cleanroom environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment and manufacturing data to identify performance trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support troubleshooting, structured problem-solving, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and equipment recovery activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical findings to stakeholders.
• Apply AI-supported data and health insights to assist with equipment analysis and performance improvements while following safety standards.
