Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an Equipment Engineer Intern to support the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

You will analyze equipment data, assist in troubleshooting, and contribute to the creation and enhancement of SOPs and documentation. Collaboration across Process, Manufacturing, Facilities, Quality, and Maintenance is expected, with exposure to AI-enabled analytics.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical, materials, manufacturing, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or related field.
• Willing to work in a semiconductor manufacturing and cleanroom environment with PPE.
• Demonstrated analytical and structured problem-solving abilities from coursework or projects.
• Experience analyzing or interpreting technical data from coursework or projects.
• Ability to document work, communicate findings, and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment and manufacturing data to identify performance trends and reliability concerns.
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Assist in equipment upgrades, SOP creation, and documentation updates.
• Collaborate with Process, Manufacturing, Facilities, Quality, Maintenance, and supplier teams; communicate findings.
• Apply AI-supported data insights to aid analysis and optimization while following safety and cleanroom standards.
