Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Trial Surveillance & Analytics (TSA) team within Data & AI Acceleration. The role focuses on designing AI-enabled analytics, data integration, and automated reporting to improve safety monitoring and operational efficiency in clinical trials.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, analytics, bioinformatics, data science or equivalent field.
2-5 years of experience in data science, analytics, statistical programming, data engineering, or related disciplines.
Complete or Full / Career proficiency in R, Python or other statistical languages and packages.

Responsibilities

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate surveillance/analytics needs into scalable solutions.
Develop analytical products, automated workflows, and AI-enabled capabilities for trial surveillance and safety assessment.
Apply statistical methodologies and ML techniques to generate actionable insights from clinical trial data.
Contribute to analytics platforms, data pipelines, and reporting solutions for ongoing monitoring.
Transform complex clinical data into visualizations and decision-support tools for teams.
