Job summary

Roofstock is looking for an experienced Assistant Controller based in Dallas, TX. You will be responsible for leading corporate accounting, implementing AI-driven accounting solutions, and managing the month-end close process.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting and financial management experience, including 5+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in Big 4 or large regional public accounting firms is preferred.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process for accurate financial reporting.
• Champion the AI-first approach by integrating AI agents into accounting workflows.
• Manage complex technical accounting areas following GAAP standards.
