Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Principal Product Manager for analytics with a focus on AI-enabled healthcare/education products in the U.S. You will guide discovery, strategy, and execution, turning emerging AI technologies into practical solutions that improve decision-making and outcomes for internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product management, technology products, data products, analytics, or a related field.
• Experience delivering AI-, analytics-, data-, or insight-driven products.
• Ability to translate complex data concepts into clear product strategies and customer value.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
• Healthcare, education, healthcare education, or enterprise software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and roadmap for AI-enabled analytics across nursing and medical education products.
• Identify opportunities to use AI to simplify analytics, surface insights, improve decision support, and enable more personalized experiences.
• Lead end-to-end product development, from discovery and prioritization through delivery, launch, and iteration.
• Translate customer and business needs into clear product strategies, requirements, and experiences.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, UX, subject matter experts, and customer-facing teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Lead cross-functional alignment by communicating product strategy, priorities, decisions, and tradeoffs.
• Establish measures of success, including adoption, usability, customer impact, and business outcomes.
• Use customer feedback, product data, and analytics to inform prioritization and continuously improve products.
• Champion responsible and practical use of AI, including attention to quality, privacy, transparency, and trust.
• Maintain a prioritized, outcome-driven backlog and support agile planning and delivery.
