Job summary

DataAnnotation is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics engineering work. You bring the judgment you have built over years of designing, debugging, and shipping hardware.

You’ll design challenging problems, run them through frontier AI models, compare model versions on identical prompts, and critique derivations and calculations with a clear rationale. You’ll flag failures with concrete evidence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering.
• Background in electrical or electronics engineering.
• Ability to defend design tradeoffs and component-level decisions.
• Fluency in English; AI tools experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, realistic engineering problems for frontier AI models.
• Run problems through AI models and judge outputs against professional standards.
• Compare model versions on identical prompts and identify strengths/weaknesses.
• Critique model-derived derivations, schematics, component selections, and calculations with rationale.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence and documentation.
