Job summary

Sephora is offering an Intern, IT WMS & Distribution Automation position across multiple distribution centers in the U.S., including Las Vegas, NV. You will work with Warehouse Systems, DC Operations, Supply Chain, and AI teams to bolster WMS reliability, automate workflows, and develop AI-powered solutions to increase efficiency and inventory accuracy.

The program runs for 10 weeks from June 14 to August 20, 2027, with weekly virtual workshops, networking opportunities, and career panels.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in CS/CE/IS/Data Science or related field.
• Basic understanding of Linux, networking, APIs, Git, cloud computing, containers, or CI/CD concepts.
• Ability to break down problems, learn unfamiliar technology, document work clearly, and communicate with technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, infrastructure‑as‑code or CI/CD tools, containers, observability concepts, secure software development, or AI/ML platform technologies.
• Graduating in 2027 or 2028 (undergraduate or graduate degree)
• Work schedule must align with 9-5PM, Pacific Standard Time
• Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.
• Must be open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation for consideration for full‑time hybrid positions*
• Available from June 14 - August 20, 2027

Responsibilities

• Support Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related supply chain applications.
• Assist with system integrations, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
• Analyze operational and system data to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop automation solutions that streamline warehouse support processes and reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with warehouse operations, engineering, and business teams to improve system performance and user experience.
• Support the development of AI agents and decision‑support applications for warehouse users.
• Build AI‑powered tools, dashboards, and monitoring solutions that enhance operational visibility.
• Develop AI‑powered solutions to support warehouse and distribution center operations.
• Present the project outcome, evidence, lessons learned, and recommended next steps at the internship culmination.
