Job summary

Birg seeks an operator to own venture execution across its portfolio, driving launches, gating, and cadence across the group. You will recruit venture leadership, build scalable processes, and run the Control Center leveraging AI-enabled workflows to supervise multiple ventures with discipline and speed.

You’ll partner with founders and report signals early, ensuring on-time delivery and portfolio momentum toward ~10 live ventures by 2027.

Qualifications

6+ years operating in startups, venture building, or general management.
Fractional / portfolio COO capability across multiple products or business lines.
Own at least one company or product from zero to launch with evidence of execution.
Elite operating discipline with regular cadence and blockers escalated early.
Authority without drama; clear communication and judgment.
Ability to distinguish signal from noise and identify founders' needs.

Responsibilities

Own the machine reach across the group—systems, ventures, and gates.
Own the operating system end to end; enforce plan-to-delivery rigor.
Drive Venture 001/002 from readiness to launch; plan Venture 003.
Recruit and motivate Venture leadership; structure attract kit and compensation.
Run the Control Center with annual planning, quarterly mapping, and weekly deliverables.
Build the AI operating layer to supervise multiple ventures with lean teams.
